The iPhone 11 and 11 Plus both have gorgeous new homescreen backgrounds, which are updated to match the iOS 11 design language.
And they’re not just wallpapers, either.
Apple has also added some new themes for iPhone 11, including some new ones like “Dawn” and “Star,” and some classic wallpapers like “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.”
Apple has also made some minor changes to the Home screen.
You can now see a few extra homescreen items like your current bookmarks and apps, as well as the number of photos, videos, podcasts, and other apps you have open.
The app drawer has been removed and is now split into “Photos” and other categories.
The “About” section has been redesigned, and there are more customizable widgets for your home screen.
If you have a lot of apps on your iPhone, you’ll see a small icon next to each app in the app drawer.
If none of your apps are in the drawer, a checkmark will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen.
If you don’t have the time to read through all of the new changes in this post, we recommend you skip ahead to the full iPhone 11 wallpaper gallery.
Apple has made some changes to some of the Home Screen settings, too.
For example, the “Calculator” setting in Settings has been renamed to “Weather,” and you can now disable the “Show all apps” feature in the “Weather” setting.
You also have the option to “Hide icons and widgets” in the Settings app.
And the “Background” and the “Notifications” screens have been rearranged a bit.
You can now also add or remove apps in the settings for both iPhone 11s and 11s Plus, if you want.
