When Google unveiled the Pixel 2, it made it clear that the Pixel line would be the first flagship phone to feature a 13-megapixel sensor.
But now the Pixel is available with a 14-megapixels camera, and while there’s no denying that the images have the potential to capture a wider range of colours, the Pixel’s resolution remains a major sticking point.
It’s a minor gripe for many but one that’s definitely been on the minds of many Pixel owners.
Here are 10 of the best wallpixels to take advantage of the new hardware.
1.
Amazon Kindle Fire HD 9.9 Amazon’s Kindle Fire line of tablets has been available for a few years now, but it’s always been a difficult sell for consumers.
There’s a lot of competition in the market, including cheaper tablets from the likes of Xiaomi and Samsung, and that’s not changing with the introduction of the Amazon Fire HD.
The HD9 tablet is the latest from Amazon, and like its predecessors it offers an attractive price tag.
It also features an 18:9 aspect ratio that makes it a perfect choice for those looking for a tablet that’s both portable and has a larger screen.
2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus 8.8 Samsung’s new Tab S-series tablet isn’t a huge seller, but the Tab S8 Plus does have a decent screen size and a decent price tag to back it up.
Samsung’s tablets are generally pretty solid, so you’ll likely want to pick up one if you can.
3.
Huawei Ascend Mate 8.1 The Huawei Ascend P8 series is a great-looking tablet, but there are two major problems that keep it from being an ideal choice for a premium smartphone.
Firstly, it’s a tad pricey, which is annoying for many, but secondly, it doesn’t have a 13MP camera on board.
The Mate 8 is the new entry-level version of the Ascend P, and it’s one of the first Android tablets with a 13.3MP camera.
4.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium 9.5 Sony’s Xperia X series of phones has been around for a long time and is arguably the best in the business.
It has a solid camera and decent specs, and the XZ has a screen that’s just over 6in.
That means you’ll be able to enjoy photos in much more pleasing resolution on the device.
5.
Lenovo Yoga Book 2 Yoga is a new company that’s been making laptops since 2012, and Lenovo has made a big deal out of the Yoga Book.
It comes in a range of different configurations and price points, but one thing that’s always impressed me is the keyboard that Lenovo has included.
The Yoga Book uses a new layout that lets you set the display to a different colour to help you see the text better.
There are also different colour options, and you can choose to set the keyboard to a more natural keyboard layout.
6.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga has a similar keyboard layout, but Lenovo has added the ability to switch between different colour keyboards to help make the experience more comfortable.
Lenovo’s new ThinkPad Yoga Book is a bit more expensive than the X1, and is available in a variety of different models.
7.
Dell XPS 12 13-inch gaming laptop with 12TB SSD Dell has released a new laptop, the Dell X-12 13-in gaming laptop, and I think it’s worth a look.
It runs the latest version of Windows 10, so it’s not exactly a new machine.
However, it has a lot in common with the HP Spectre x360, and so the price and features aren’t all that different.
8.
Dell UltraSharp 12 14-inch PC that’s a bit bigger than a MacBook and has an Intel Core i5-6400 processor and 256GB SSD Dell’s new UltraSharp PC has a 13mm screen and a 16GB SSD.
It packs in a 1TB SSD and a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Core M processor.
Dell’s UltraSharp 11 is one of my favourite laptops for gamers, so I really like it.
It can handle 1080p and 4K gaming with no issues, and there’s an 8-core Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080M graphics chip in the box.
9.
Razer Blade Stealth 14.9-inch laptop with a 16TB SSD Razer has released the Razer Blade Spectre 14-in Gaming laptop, which also sports a 13″ IPS display.
It offers plenty of space for games and video, and features a 256GB NVMe SSD.
10.
Samsung KDL16G-C7T2S 13.1-inch Chromebook Samsung’s latest Chromebook comes in two different configurations: the 13-incher and the 15-inche.
The latter is a slightly smaller model that is powered by an Intel Skylake processor and is the most expensive option.
Samsung also has an option for an 18-inched model, which comes with a 15-inch
