Apple is poised to raise the price of its popular iPhone X smartphone from $999 to $1,099.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is raising the price from $1 to $2 per month.
The iPhone Xr will be available for $999 starting in early April and is expected to ship in June.
The price is a drop from the $1 per month price that the iPhone X launched in late April.
Apple is expected in early May to introduce an update for the iPhone 8 that will increase the iPhone’s storage to 512MB, the same capacity as the iPhone 7s.
Apple is also expected to introduce a new line of accessories that include a stylus, an EarPods headset, and an Apple Pencil.
Apple has also been teasing that its upcoming iPhone 8 will feature a new, redesigned screen with OLED technology.
The new OLED screen will feature an 8.5-inch HD (2560 x 1440) display that can display up to 60-percent of the screen area.
The iPhone X will launch in the United States and Canada in June and in China and other countries in late July.
The device will also be available internationally in August.
